Super Berry Blanket Pattern
To make this blanket you will need:
350g Double knit yarn (details are given below)
4.5mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitches
Half Treble Crochet (htr): Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull through loop, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.
Double Crochet (dc): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull through loop, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook.
Berry Stitch: Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull through loop, yarn over and pull through 1 loop. Yarn over insert hook into same stitch, yarn over pull through loop, yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on hook.
Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate
Hook size: 4.5mm
Tension gauge: 10tr = 10cm / 7rows = 10cm

Rows 4 - 21: For all even numbered rows - 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 repeat Row 2. [91]

Row 22: Attach Barnevold and dc across the row, fasten off. [91]

The Border
Round 1: Attach Barnevold to any side and dc in each stitch until you reach the corner, dc three times in the corner. Repeat these stitches all round the blanket until you come to the first dc and join, then ch1.
Rounds 2 to 4: dc in the stitch at base of ch1, and dc until you reach the corner, dc three times in the corner. Repeat these stitches all round the blanket until you come to the first dc and join, then ch1.
Round 5: As above but using chosen ‘accent colour’, Venlo has been used in this pattern.
Round 6: As above using Barnevold for the last round. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
